Online

A fully online course delivery allows for flexibility without compromising on quality. Your course content will be delivered in fortnightly blocks enabling you to pace yourself and stay engaged with your study. You could be on the floor teaching in as little as 12 weeks or take up to 6 months - you set the pace!

In-person

A mixed delivery course including online theory components delivered fortnightly, and five compulsory in-person Practicum sessions held at The Inspired Academy in Hobart. Stay engaged with your peers, share your stories and deepen your understanding of the repertoire by working alongside others and with a qualified Pilates instructor.

*All courses delivered through The Inspired Academy qualify for 150 hours / 15 CEC’s certified through AusActive

Our courses enable you to hit the floor with confidence and be job-ready upon completion. By having a built in work experience component you can master the repertoire in your own body, practice with family and friends, observe, watch and listen to online or live Pilates classes and ultimately assist a qualified Pilates instructor in a live class. Embrace the mistakes, the nerves and the learning process in a supportive environment so you can teach with confidence when you graduate.

Launceston Pilates offers Inspired Academy students work experience placements for ‘Observation’ and ‘Assist Teaching’, which means all practical hours can be completed in a supportive environment without the stress of searching for a suitable studio.

Launceston Pilates sets the standard for Reformer Pilates in northern Tasmania. The Inspired Academy and Launceston Pilates can get you ready to teach Reformer Pilates with confidence, apply your knowledge to the specialised Reformer equipment and have access to relevant classes for your work experience.

The Inspired Academy also offers comprehensive Mat Pilates training, which can be tailored to work alongside your Reformer Pilates training or be delivered by itself as a separate course.
