FOUNDATIONS

Where to begin if you’re new to reformer Pilates or to our studio. These classes are designed to introduce you to the reformer, Pilates principles and foundational sequences.

*New clients are recommended to attend 1-2 classes Foundations classes as a starting point
*Suitable for pregnancy <13 weeks

With 5 different class types available, you are guaranteed to find a session suitable to your experience, mood & energy on any given day. All of our classes ensure a whole-body workout with our highly skilled instructors always offering options for adding or subtracting layers throughout.

Our Classes

OPEN-LEVEL

Our signature class at Launceston Pilates. Expect a fun, flowing class with the perfect mix of strength, stretch and mobility. All classes guarantee a full body workout with options available for variations throughout.

*Suitable for pregnancy <13 weeks

ADVANCED

For clients looking to level up their practice through the use of challenging sequences & spring load progressions. You’ll still get all the reformer goodness, but with a little extra spice and energy. Consistent attendance of our open-level classes is required.

PRENATAL

For our pregnant pals looking to continue their Pilates journey beyond the 13-week mark. Our trained instructors will tailor these classes to assist you in moving in a way that feels good throughout your pregnancy. All classes are designed in accordant with the RANZCOG 2020 guidelines for Exercise during Pregnancy.

*Please check with your GP/Obstetrician/Midwife prior to your first class to make sure Pilates is not contraindicated during your pregnancy

8-WEEK POSTNATAL COURSE

Our carefully designed 8-week postnatal program aims to leave you feeling empowered, educated and energised whilst recovering from your natural or caesarean birth. The course will focus on global strength, abdominal rehabilitation and stretch/mobility. Plus, you can choose to bring your baby along to join in on the fun!
