What attracted you to instructing Pilates?
I first fell in love with Pilates when I was pregnant, and it quickly became something I looked forward to every week, Through my practice, I gained invaluable knowledge about how to move in ways that would not only strengthen and protect my body during pregnancy but also help me prepare for childbirth and recover afterward. The more I practised, the more I came to love Pilates for it's huge range of benefits from mind-body connection to improved mobility, strength, stability, alignment and body awareness to name a few.
What really drew me to teaching Pilates, however, is how much fun it is! It’s a practice that makes you feel good, both physically and mentally. Pilates has so many benefits, for every stage of life, and the ability to share that with others is incredibly rewarding.
What do you do when you’re not teaching Pilates?
When I'm not teaching you can find me spending time with my family, reading a good book, spending time in our beautiful outdoors or enjoying good food and wine with friends and family.
Favourite move to teach in class?
I really do love planks. Sorry in advance!
